Image via WikipediaCandela Dance Studio in the SE Central part of Seoul known as Yangjae is undoubtedly the best place to learn 'on2' Salsa dancing in Seoul, S.Korea. Candela Dance Studio, owned and operated by Pillhwan Hyun, formerly one of the top executives in Samsung International Marketing Division, has been training Seoul's top salsa dancers for several years since Pillhwan got the salsa 'bug', left his job in marketing and started his dance studio.
The studio is easy to get to....just a short 5 minute walk from either exit 5 or 6 of the Yangjae Subway station. Once you're inside, it's hard to believe that someplace that nice and that big could be hidden away down that little set of decending stairs. But that's the way things are built in Seoul.
Recently Pillhwan got together with Art Williams, AKA: "The WanderingSalsero" on his Blog Talk Radio radio show entitled "Latin Dance News" and discussed some of what makes Candela Dance Studio such a fun place to learn on2 salsa in Seoul and what makes Seoul, S.Korea such a great place for salsa lovers.
